…And the Winners Are…

Results of the EDFAS 2008 Board of Directors Election

The votes are in and counted, and the new EDFAS Board of Directors is in place. We were fortunate to have seven outstanding candidates for the four open positions on the Board, all of whom were well-qualified and ready to drive the society forward. We thank all of our candidates. Over 15% of the active membership voted electronically in July and here are the results.

Elected to a four-year term, beginning 1 September 2008 and ending 31 August 2012 are (in alphabetical order):

Dr. Moore and Mr. Walraven were re-elected incumbents, Ms. Delgado was a founding member of EDFAS and returns to the Board after several years’ absence, and Ms. Li is beginning her first Board of Directors term.
