The Electronic Device Failure Analysis Society (EDFAS) fosters education and communication in the failure analysis community, working for technology advancement and the improved performance and reliability of devices and materials for the electronic industry. Failure analysis and prevention are important functions to all of the engineering disciplines. The materials engineer often plays a lead role in the analysis of failures, whether a component or product fails in service or if failure occurs in manufacturing or during production processing. In any case, one must determine the cause of failure to prevent future occurrence, and/or to improve the performance of the device, component or structure.

EDFAS now offers the last 12 years of ISTFA technical papers available free to EDFAS members ONLINE!!! 

Members can access individual conference papers by first logging in, then using Search. Enter the year of the conference and the name ISTFA.
