January 10, 2024 Chapters Can Open the Doorway to Material Science

ASM Chapters can play a pivotal role in spreading awareness of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE) opening the door to STEM learning. Engaging young people at venues, such as science fairs and class demonstrations, are great opportunities to introduce the fascinating world of materials science.

The Foundation provides hands-on, minds-on activities including brassing a penny or creating raku. Empowering students to actively participate enhances understanding and ignites a passion for discovery and experimentation.
